Madras High Court Judges seek time to disclose assets

Judges of the Madras High Court have postponed declaring their assets by about two weeks. The original deadline for declaration of their assets was October 31, which has now been postponed to November 15. The judges have sought additional time to compile their asset particulars.
Last week the Court had finalized a format, incorporating suggestions of the committee and the format used by the judges of the Kerala High Court. As per the format, the assets of the judges, their spouses and dependent children are to be put on the court's website.
