New series of Columns launched: "Working Title"; To focus on alternative options for lawyers

Feb 02, 2012

In keeping with the tradition of bringing to you some of the most interesting articles in the legal world, Bar & Bench is starting a new series of columns called "Working Title".

Working Title is a series of columns written by law graduates who are doing something out of the ordinary. It is the stories of lawyers who have opted to tread the path less travelled upon, their experiences and their reflections. So we have writers who have chosen to teach, to become musicians, to write about food and to study journalism.

Working Title seeks to draw out stories from those who are using their law school education in new and innovative ways. Working Title is meant to celebrate differences, to create awarness of the “non-traditional” avenues and to highlight how a law school education opens more doors then most have been led to believe.

And just in case you are wondering why we decided to call it so, it is because of the simple fact that the writing is so diverse that any classification would be completely futile!

Needless to say, we at Bar & Bench, welcome suggestions/comments from you. In case you know of anyone who is treading on the path less travelled, then please do let us know and we will take it from there.
