Former Amarchand Senior Associate, Rishi Anand has set up a full service law firm called GNARUS Partners with a team of 5 lawyers including him. The firm has been operational since December 15, 2012.
There is nothing to challenge Rishi's calibre and that is also not the question here. What someone rightly pointed out was just because some one left AMSS does not call for an applause/news. Rishi started a law firm, good for him and I wish him good luck, but is it a news item- NO! Some how what is being covered is not Rishi but AMSS. Some years down the line he would also see this. The beauty of law is you can take on anyone head on. I have argued cases against the big wigs many a time, alas! was never covered by bar and bench. And I was just 3 years into the profession at that time.
best of luck.............congrats..............
I have interacted with Rishi on a professional and personal level and I must say that I am very pleased to see him get on the fast track and move towards his goals. It appears that some people, who posted adverse comments, may not view this as a major step or something that requires serious work. However, there are serious challenges involved in starting out on your own at an early stage. Based on Rishi's calibre and commercial acumen, I have no doubts that Rishi will be successful. All the best!
He says he always wanted to set-up his own law firm and that was the plan. I am wondering if he told this fact upfront during the interviews at the four law firms he has worked with.Or, is the history being modified while quoting in the present?Neverthless, it is a good and courageous step, and he must be encouraged for this. I genuinely wish him success in the future.
Back with the bang ! As always, you did it your style. What a smart and timely start. Stay tuned people, this guy has plenty of news to make in future.
