Clasis Law continues its expansion spree with maritime law expert Harsh Pratap joining as Partner in the Mumbai office. Pratap shall be heading the shipping practice of the firm.
Pratap, a graduate from Government Law College, Mumbai worked for about four years before pursuing a masters in maritime law from the University of Southampton, UK. Before the move to Clasis Law, Pratap worked with PSP Law Office in Mumbai.
After eleven years of experience in martime law, Pratap says that the shift to Clasis Law was based on the firm's “international outlook”, something which is absolutely essential in a field such as shipping. He says that Clasis Law “...is a growing firm and [has] a very good team to work with” and is looking forward to the change.
Vineet Aneja, Partner, Clasis Law, stated that "We are delighted to welcome Harsh to the firm and his arrival underscores our commitment to providing a wide range of services to our clients. The Indian transport industry is in a state of flux which presents interesting challenges for our clients in the shipping sector."
This is the third new partner at Clasis Law in as many momths, after Sumeet Lall joined as Head, Litigation and Dispute Resolution in November 2011 and Sagar Divekar joined Clasis Law in Decemeber 2011.
