Clasis continues hiring spree; hires litigation Partner in Mumbai

Clasis Law has recently hired a litigation Partner in its Mumbai office to further strengthen its litigation and disputes team. Sagar Divekar, formerly a Counsel with Trilegal, joined Clasis on December 5, 2011 as a salaried partner.

 

Sagar will handle the general litigation practice of the firm with special focus on Securities Law and Criminal Law Litigation.

 

Sagar is a graduate of Government Law College Mumbai. Before joining Trilegal, he was working with Wadia Ghandy & Co. He worked at Wadia Ghandy for almost ten years. Sagar has also worked with Shaw Wallace & Co. Ltd.

 

Sagar has significant experience in general commercial litigation and has appeared before various foras including Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court, Bombay City Civil Court, Securities Appellate Tribunal, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), International Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and various arbitration tribunals.

This takes the total number of partners at the firm to 9.

 

In November, Sumeet Lall had joined Clasis Law as a Partner to head the litigation and dispute resolution practice of the firm.
