Bangalore based Mundkur Law Partners wins the 2011 Corporate INTL Award for “Life Science Law Firm of the Year in India” for the second consecutive year

Mundkur Law Partners (MLP), Bangalore, a boutique law firm specializing in international business transactions has bagged for the second consecutive year, the Corporate INTL Award for “Life Science Law Firm of the Year in India”.

 

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Ramanand Mundkur, the Managing Partner at the firm, shared his happiness surrounding the winning of the Award for the second time. He said that since MLP is a small and a new firm, this recognition seems excellent for its future prospects. He said that he feels fortunate for having good people of quality at the firm, who have made this achievement possible. He also expressed the pleasant surprise surrounding the announcement of the Award.

 

On asking about the details as to how did Corporate INTL get to them, he explained that the people at Corporate INTL first wrote to them asking for the details regarding the list of their transactions. They then intimated them that they had been shortlisted, and asked for further details specifically regarding their transactions in the field of life sciences, after scrutinizing which, the panelists declared them winners!

 

On being asked about the future plans of the firm, he said that they are aiming at building a team of quality legal professionals, who swear by their value commitments. They are also striving towards achieving a work environment which provides an amicable atmosphere of personal growth to lawyers.
