IFLR Asia Awards 2011: Luthra & Luthra wins for the second consecutive year

Luthra & Luthra Law Offices won the ‘National Law Firm of the Year’ award at the recently concluded International Financial Law Review’s (IFLR’s) Asia Awards 2011 in Hongkong. The firm has won this prestigious award for the second consecutive year.

 

Luthra & Luthra Law Offices was also the only law firm from India to have been nominated in the category of ‘Regional Law Firm of the Year’ along with five other regional law firms from Asia Pacific region.

 

The nominations announced towards the end of January also had as nominees, Amarchand Mangaldas and Talwar Thakore & Associates for the Standard Chartered Listing of Indian Depository Receipts on Indian Stock Exchange deal in the category of ‘Equity Deal of the Year’ and J. Sagar & Associates along with Lexygen for Morgan Stanley/Asian Genco deal in the category of ‘Private Equity Deal of the Year’.  The list of the nominees is available here.

 

Speaking with Bar & Bench on winning the award Rajiv Luthra, the Managing Partner said “It gives us great pleasure to have received this prestigious award for the second consecutive year! Last year in April, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices won accolades for the ‘New Delhi Firm of the year’ along with ‘Project finance team of the year and three Deal of the year awards, at the IFLR India Awards 2010.
