ELP boosts its corporate and PE practice with Darshan from ARA Law

Darshan Upadhyay joins Economic Laws Practice (ELP), Mumbai as an Associate Partner to strengthen its corporate and private equity practice.

Darshan was a Partner at ARA Law and has a strong experience in private equity, M & A and general corporate advisory work. He has joined the Mumbai office of ELP under the ‘private equity’ team of the firm headed by Partner Suhail Nathani.

 

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Partner Suhail said, “ELP has created a strong private equity practice within a short span of time and it seamlessly leverages the experience and strength of its highly acclaimed tax, infrastructure, litigation and anti-trust practice.  Darshan’s induction is at the right time and in line with the firms continued endeavour to expand and create a formidable private equity and corporate advisory team”.

This brings the total count of Partners in ELP (inclusive of Partners and Associate Partners) in Mumbai to 12, and in Delhi to 4.

Darshan's knowledge of law and analytical skills are truly admirable. Having worked with him in ARA in the past, I'm sure that he will do extremely well. Wish Darshan all the very best!!
