IndusLaw, Bangalore has shifted into a new office to Vittal Mallya Road.
Speaking to Bar & Bench Partner Suneeth Katarki said, “The reason for shifting is basically two fold. One, we were looking at expansion because we were running out of space in our old office and secondly, was to move to a more prime location. We have moved into Vittal Mallya Road which is considered as the primary destination in Bangalore and some of the big law firms are also located here. The growth has been strong essentially in the Bangalore office, and it is the biggest office with 5 Partners, Delhi has 3 and Bhubaneshwar has 1 Partner. The Hyderabad office of IndusLaw doesn’t have a Partner presently, but it is growing phenomenally well with a Principal Associate looking after it and was also known as “Hyderabad Law Firm of the Year” in 2009. Hyderabad gets its support from the Bangalore office”.
Suneeth added on to say, “The move has coincided very well with a lot of publicity as we are getting acknowledged with bigger transactions. We are positioning ourselves at least in Bangalore as one of the top law firms. We have always been in the top 10 to 15, but now we are considered in the top 5 and we want to get into the top league all across the country too”.
Bangalore has a total of 5 Partners and 36 lawyers. Three handle corporate, comprising of PE transactions. They also recently took on Kartik Ganapathy who was previously with Nishith Desai Associates.
At present there are a total of 9 Partners in all 4 locations of IndusLaw i.e. Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar.
IndusLaw believes that the new 7,500 square foot premises, with enhanced infrastructure and improved accessibility, will be a great asset in their continuing endeavour to deliver premium quality services to their growing clientele.
