According to sources, Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi Competition law team Director Paku Khan and Mumbai Partner Ganesh Prasad have recently resigned from the firm to join Khaitan & Co..According to sources, Amarchand Mangaldas Delhi Competition law team Director Paku Khan (pictured) and Mumbai Partner Ganesh Prasad have recently resigned from the firm to join Khaitan & Co..Paku Khan will be joining the Delhi office of Khaitan while Ganesh Prasad will be joining the Bangalore office..Paku Khan joined Amarchand in January 2010 as its Director of Competition Law. Prior to joining Amarchand, he was practicing competition and corporate law as a Senior Solicitor with Irish firm A&L Goodbody. Khan has also worked with Irish Competition Authority..He is qualified as a solicitor/lawyer in multiple jurisdictions in Europe and the United States..Ganesh was promoted to Amarchand partnership in April 2010. He had joined the firm in 2006 from Trilegal. Ganesh is dual qualified in India and UK and specializes in M&A and private equity..Ganesh will further boost the corporate practice of Bangalore office, which has recently moved to a larger office space. According to sources, Ganesh will look after Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore region..The Bangalore office has this year hired two lateral partners, Abhilekh Verma and Anindita Phukan and with Ganesh joining, there will be total 5 partners at Bangalore office..The Mumbai office of Khaitan has recently hired ANS Law Associates co-founding Partner Sharad Abhyankar as Partner in corporate and commercial team..Amarchand, Khaitan, Paku Khan and Ganesh Prasad have declined to comment.
